Future Business Leaders of America
FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) is a club comprised mostly of students that are taking a business or technology class. The purpose of the club is to discuss topics that will prepare students to be successful in the business world.
The club meets once a month. Guest speakers are invited to share their knowledge on topics such as bank accouts, credit, insurance, and the importance of computer skills in business. Students took a field trip to Alabama State University in the fall and were given a tour of the business program, allowed to use a software program to create animation, and treated to a pizza lunch.
Community service activities included students bringing a canned food item to help feed a family for Thanksgiving. Students were also given banks to collect change for the March of Dimes.
Our mission is to bring business and education togethe in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs.
I solemnly promise to uphold the aims and responsibilities of Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda and, as an active member, I shall strive to develop the qualities necessary in becoming a responsible business leader.
