|Jaguar Pride Is Hard To Hide
The Wilcox Central High School Tip-Off Club is designed to tap resources from businesses and communities to enrich the sports and educational programs at Wilcox Central High School. Partnerships foster special bonds of cooperation and mutual respect and understanding between school, businesses and communities. Representatives from business become part of this organization by joining in a partnership and by making a commitment to become actively involved. This involvement includes working with the principal and teachers to meet the specific needs of the school and students.
"If you want to be important, wonderful. If you want to be recognized, wonderful. If you want to be great, wonderful; BUT recognize that he who's the greatest among YOU, shall be a SERVANT. That's a new definition of GREATNESS. And this morning, what I like about it: by giving Greatness that difinition means that everybody can be GREAT, because everybody can SERVE. You don't need to have a college degree to SERVE; You don't have to make your subject and verb agree to SERVE; You don't have to know Plato and Aristotle to SERVE; You don't have to know Einstein's theory dynamics of relativity to SERVE; You don't have to know the second theory of thermodynamics in Physics to SERVE. All You need is a heart full of grace, a soul generated by love; YOU can be that SERVANT." -Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
